Enlightening students by learning and practicing their faith

Islamic Education enlightens the students with the knowledge of the religious beliefs, and understanding the values, social and cultural heritage encouraging harmony with Australian values. The fundamental reason for developing such awareness lies in the understanding of the concept of Allah in the minds and souls of God-fearing individuals. This enables the students to build an Islamic personality as they learn the entire range of Islamic religion and its civilization. Consequently, this learning will help them explore their Muslim identity and develop a positive relationship between themselves and the wider Australian community. We have a dedicated time for Midday prayer for all students, the year 6 to 12 students pray in the Mosque in congregation. Islamic connections are made throughout the curriculum and school activities.

Islamic Education at EPIC has two components: Islamic Studies and Quranic Studies. Through which we teach Akhlaq (Manners, morals and ethics), Aqeedah (Tawheed and matters of faith), Fiqh (Essentials and Practices), Islamic History, and Arabic phonetic reading.
